CAS-36 is a compact cabinet used in a 36kV network using SF6 insulation that combines all functions in the medium voltage distribution network. The CAS-36 performs transformer connection, supply and protection over an open loop or ray network.

Running a distribution network, which sometimes requires switching points at HV / MV substations to limit the effects of a fault on the electrical network, CAS 36 solves these problems.

The CAS-36 also offers a choice of solutions for performance, up to 4 directions

connect, switch network by interrupt switch.

The CAS-36 uses SF6 gas insulation, switchgear parts, busbar and functional units up to 4 compartments (I) or 4 compartments (Q):

 Compartment (I) Functions:

Is an isolated knife compartment with 3 open-open-ground positions (400/630 A).

 Compartment (Q) Functions:

Is to prevent the transformer, the circuit breaker (fuse combination) with 3 positions open-open-ground (200 A).

CAS-36 is manufactured according to the standards of IEC: IEC 60…: 694, 298, 265, 129, 420.

Depending on the number of compartments (I) and compartments (Q), the following types of CAS-36 cabinets are available:
